In the context of a global reorganization, we are creating a new Group Operational Excellence Department, with the overall objective to drive top- and bottom-line store performance by continuously improving in-store execution leveraging internal and external expertise and innovation, support openings or distressed operations to foster profitable expansion.
This new department will include four teams:
• Store solutions
• Local Supply Chain, Loss Prevention and Transversal Projects management
• Operational quality
• Indirect purchasing
The purpose of the Transversal Projects management pole will be to provide Project management / PMO for Group and countries complex projects, incl. a major Group data convergence project, POP animation and STARS+ PMO. Strategic projects to be handled will evolve over time and tackle a variety of topics (operational; organization…).
“POP” stands for “Process Optimization and Performance” and covers processes such as Purchase to Pay, Supply Chain, Master Data, Sales to Cash, Check Out, and aims at:
- Driving continuous improvement of business processes, in the Core model or related to it
- Fostering exchanges between operational and functional experts to collect, understand and synthetize needs and thus optimize the interface between business and IT teams both ways
- Ensuring an efficient, fair and transparent arbitration between requests, based on Group best interest
STARS+ is the Group transformation program, aiming at generating 200m€ cumulated efficiency gains between 2024 and 2026, including 12 streams on various topics: direct and indirect Purchasing, Operational Performance, AI, IT Convergence, Supply Chain…
The Transversal Projects Manager will be highly exposed to Group top management, and to all countries and businesses operated.
MAIN MISSIONS
The Transversal Projects Manager ensures the management of a portfolio of strategic projects and coordinate these projects from end-to-end.
In this context, responsibilities will be to ensure PMO for the projects he/she’s in charge of:
- Structure approach and methodology
- Organize work and project team / Steering Committees
- Coordinate and align the various teams and functions involved (depending on projects can be operations, IT, Finance…) in countries or HQ
- Arbitrate level 1 priorities and project decisions
- When relevant, track status, achievement and gains; including monitoring guidelines and method definition
- Document the project, produce reporting for Top Management
PROFILE
You have a Master in Management or Engineering and ideally you have :
- Minimum 5 years of professional experience,
- An experience in the following fields : Strategy, Project management, Consulting,
- An experience in managing / supervising data and business IT projects.
Ideally based in Levallois-Perret (Paris area), other European location could be discussed.
You have a good command of project management (organization, coordination, prioritization, etc.) and Microsoft Office (in particular Excel and PowerPoint). Ideally, you have an experience with SAP and/or Master Data Management. You are fluent in English and French (spoken and written).
You have a taste for challenging environments and assignments and are recognised for your flexibility, curiosity and versatility ; your autonomy, decision-making and ability to deal with the unexpected.
You have a strong ability to get things done while meeting deadlines, and good anticipation, organization and priority management skills.
You also have synthesis skills (oral and written) and good communication and interpersonal skills.
